Background
Comfy Foods, a growing Australian food brand known for its quality Sri Lankan homemade foods, was ready to take its first steps into international markets. With strong domestic traction, the business identified Japan as its first export destination. However, as first-time exporters, Comfy Foods faced the complexities of export documentation, compliance, and cold chain handling - particularly with sensitive food ingredients.
The Partnership
On 22nd April 2025, Comfy Foods was referred to Vision via Trade Investment Queensland and met with the team at Vision International to explore a path forward. From the first conversation, Vision took a hands-on approach, guiding Comfy Foods through every step of the export process.

On 17th July 2025, Comfy Foods’ first-ever export to Japan was successfully dispatched.
